Some facts about tsunamis

We have all recently under tremendous shock, what has happened in parts of Asia last December 26, 2004, just a day after a joyous celebration of Christmas on Phuket Paradise City, and was on the island of Sri Lanka. It 'a great tragedy with the death toll has reached about 135,000 people now, and left many injured, homeless and struggling to survive.

Here are some facts you may know about tsunami

- Before the first wavetsunami strikes, the coast is very different and may even expose the sea or ocean floor and leave a bounty of dry fish. If you see this happen, you never let your curiosity get the better of you and immediately run to the next level.

- A tsunami is a series of waves, especially the first wave is less intense of all.

These are some facts you may know about the tsunami. Tsunamis are deadly and can cause destruction of lives, property, and even a whole step. The best weapon against this kind of unprecedented and unstoppable, is a public well-trained and well informed, so that even if the properties can be washed away, lives can be saved.
