Learning the alphabet: Why is it so important for children

What is the alphabet and why is it important for our children to learn? The alphabet is simply a collection of letters and sounds. Most of us do not even remember a time when we know that our letters so it seems almost absurd, as is to teach our children to worry about. However, ABC constituent elements of language. A well-read, our children must be able to recognize each letter is in order and not in order, as the sounds associatedwith this letter. Once armed with this knowledge, then a child is in literacy.

Learning the alphabet should begin early in the child's life. While some children learn their letters I do not know until they start school, this is not recommended. In fact, children on track to dominate the first alphabet of school age and should definitely be introduced to at least 3 letters of age before.

Start simple. Do not try toteach all 26 letters at once. Just focus on a few letters at a time and let the child see, hear and experience, that writing in a variety of ways. Remember that children learn through the use of their senses so while ABC alphabet can pound a useful tool for learning to use one, you should teach approaches. Look to buy or make that children can experience 3-D paste and let the children build letter and also to play with. Alphabet Coloring and Craftsmay also help to know your child letters.

The main lesson is, if not more, fun. Like having a game and you love your child and yourself.

The alphabet is the element of literacy, and so children must learn to recognize letters and the name, in and out of order, and the sounds associated with each letter.
